SCA TREE CARE ARBORISTS
International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certification: The ISA offers various certifications for arborists, including the Certified Arborist, Tree Worker, and Board Certified Master Arborist designations. These certifications demonstrate an arborist’s knowledge and expertise in tree care and management.
California Contractor’s License: Arborists who provide tree care services that exceed $500 in labor and materials are required to hold a California Contractor’s License. This license is issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and requires passing an exam and meeting certain experience and education requirements.
Pest Control License: Arborists who apply pesticides or other chemicals to trees in Sacramento County must hold a Pest Control License issued by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR). This license requires passing an exam and completing ongoing education to maintain the license.
